A PCA assessment is a report that informs clients of their employee’s capabilities to function in general.
This is carried out through formal subjective assessment of colleague’s symptoms and a professional analysis of their movements in the clinical setting. A full history of the colleague’s required activities and difficulties at home and at work is documented to ensure comparisons can be made and suitable conclusions drawn.
Reports are concise for managers to follow and comprehend and clinicians also document reasons for adjustments and support to enable the individual to remain in work in a substantive role. Recommendations for further treatment may be documented.
